Enrollware and the 2020 AHA Guidelines

With the recent announcement of the AHA's 2020 guidelines and related changes to Training Network, we here at Enrollware are working to incorporate those changes into the software.  This document will serve to outline our current status with respect to the changes.  Check back here periodically for updates.

eCards

The new eCards for 2020 are being distributed with new product codes, with the 15- being replaced by 20-, and are maintained in separate inventories within the AHA system.  We have updated our eCard Direct Connect system to be able to selectively issue cards from either inventory as of 10/25/2020.  For course types with the two different card inventories, the user will now see a radio button selection for the card type that they would like to issue.

Online Exams

We are aware of the new online exams for ACLS, BLS, and PALS disciplines and are working to determine how best to enhance Enrollware to support these new requirements.   We have not yet had any discussions with the AHA regarding any direct integration with their online exams.  The AHA has confirmed that paper exams will continue to be supported.

As a start, we have implemented an export file that can be uploaded to the AHA Training Central site for issuing the online exam keys.  The .csv file contains a row for each student in the class with their first and last name and email address.
