Linking Multiple Classes to the Same Seats

First, create a course that includes the additional pricing and CEU’s along with a new description that includes verbiage that differentiates this BLS course from the standard BLS course.  Make sure to update your information after you have created or changed anything in your courses or classes.

Next, create a class for each course on the same day, at the same time, location and instructor.

After you schedule class #1 you will see something like this below, a standard-looking class.

Your next step is to create the second class that you want to combine with the first class in order to maximize your available student seats without exceeding your maximum.  As you are entering your information for the class, which needs to be identical to the first class, enter “0” in the “Maximum Students” box and select "update class".  Entering “0” triggers the system to look for another class at the same time and same day.  A “link Seats” button will appear in the class details.  Select the “link Seats” button and matching class information will appear.

Select the class that you want to link seats with from the drop-down menu and select “Update Class”.

Now you can view your linked classes in “Upcoming Classes”.  If you have classes that are linked together for seating, you will notice in the Enrolled column something like 0+0/10.  This identifies the number of people who have registered for each individual class and will not let the total students combined exceed the maximum students for the class.  In this example, the maximum is 10 students total.
