Card Printing
Card printing in the Enrollware system is quick and easy, but there are a couple of aspects that need to be understood before attempting your first printing. First off, we use Microsoft Word to create the document that is printed on the card stock. You must have Word installed on the system that you are using to print.
Secondly, after printing a set of cards, you’ll undoubtedly have a partial page of cards remaining from time to time, as it is unlikely that all of your classes will exactly fit the number of cards on one sheet. To manage this, we’ve built the system to print correctly on the partial pages before using the next full sheet. On the print page, you’ll be asked to enter in the number of blank cards remaining on that first page (1, 2, or 3, etc).
Next, if the system does determine that it will leave a partial page at the end of the job, it uses those cards on the last page from the bottom up. We’ve found that printers can have some issues feeding the page if there are missing cards at the top of the page.
The printing screen is accessed by clicking the Print Cards button at the bottom of the student list. In the left column, you control which of the student cards should be printed. Select your cards, complete and verify the information in the right column, and then click the Generate Word Doc for Printing button. We recommend that you do a test by printing the first job or two on blank paper before using real cards. Hold the plain paper sheets one at a time together with a real card sheet and verify the alignment and partial page usage. Then load your cards sheets and print for real.
