Deleting Classes, Courses, Locations, and Instructors
Enrollware protects your data from accidental deletion by requiring a specific order in which items can be deleted.
**Warning, deleting a student or instructor will remove all existing data that pertains to them including payments made**
Deleting Classes
Classes cannot be deleted until there are no students enrolled in that class. Once all students are deleted from the class, a delete button on the class details screen will appear.
Deleting Course Types
Course Types cannot be deleted if there are any past or future scheduled classes for that course type. If a course type has been used in the past and you no longer wish to have it as an active course type, check the "Archive" checkbox in the course edit screen.
Deleting Locations
You can only delete a location that hasn't been used when scheduling classes. If you have scheduled classes at a location that you want to delete, you'll need to find the classes scheduled at the location in question and re-assign the classes to another location. If you have duplicate locations, you'll need to rename one of them so they're different and easier to locate the classes assigned to the location.
Deleting Instructors
Instructors cannot be deleted if they are or have been assigned to any class as a lead or assistant. If you un-assign them from those classes, a delete button will appear on the User Edit screen. Alternatively, you can inactivate their instructor account by un-checking the "Active User" box in the User Edit screen. When deactivating an instructor, ensure that you leave the instructor box checked on the user record in order to access the instructors records in the future.
