Keycode Add-ons

Enrollware has a feature that allows keycodes to be offered as add-ons to a class registration. This document serves to describe the changes that were made to enable this feature.

This feature requires that the Enrollware client is using the most recent version of the registration system and that all Course Types have been upgraded.   A new add-on "Type" of "Keycode" has been added as shown below.  Once the Keycode type is selected, a dropdown is shown which allows you to select the associated keycode bank.  After creating the add-on, it can be associated with the appropriate Course Types in the same manner as any other add-on.

Upon a student registration, the handling of the keycode is very similar to the existing class keycode system.  Keycodes are automatically assigned and delivered to the student, with notification to the admin.

Admin Notification Email: 

Student Confirmation Email:  You will need to provide instructions in the Course Type’s confirmation email on how to use the keycode.  This information will go to all registrants so it would probably be a good idea to begin the instructions with "If you have purchased an eBook" or something similar.

Student Edit Screen:  Once the keycode has been assigned the option cannot be unselected.  In order to unassign the keycode the student’s account must be deleted.  Please follow the "cancelling keys" instructions in the Keycode guide located under your help tab.
