Best Practices - Chargebacks

Chargebacks are an unfortunate and often painful part of business. Here are a few suggestions to aid your chargeback appeals and protect your business.


Create Custom Registration Questions

These can be required and completely customizable. Use these questions to verify how deposits and non-refundable classes are handled.


Each custom registration question and the response will appear in the student’s record.

Update Terms and Conditions

Navigate to Settings | Site Settings | Registration Settings section. Update your Terms and Conditions and make sure they are required. Screenshot the registration page including the Terms and Conditions checkbox.



Provide IP address of the registrant

Navigate to Classes and Students | Student Search | click the Action Icon beside the student. The IP address of the registrant's device is located in the Student Record.



Supply Transaction Information

MerchantTrack can provide information regarding the transaction. Sample screenshots and reports are included in the MerchantTrack Help Doc.

Also verify the transaction number and name in the student's Enrollware record matches the transaction number and name in MerchantTrack.



Document Check-Ins

Enrollware allows you to check students in manually via the Student List or online Check-In. Either will help provide documentation the student attended the class.

The Student List can be accessed by navigating to Classes and Students | Past Classes or Upcoming Classes | click the Action icon beside the class | click the red Student List button.

Online Check-in is used when a laptop or ipad is available for the student to check themselves in and verify information. The Online Student Check-in video explains how to setup and use the Online Student Check-in.
